Southwest Microwave is proud to announce the promotion of Jeff Drews to Director of Technical Solutions. For over 10 years, Jeff has been a cornerstone of the company, developing extensive technical knowledge while consistently demonstrating a customer-focused approach and building strong, lasting relationships with clients and partners.
In his new role, Jeff will lead our Technical Sales and Technical Services teams, overseeing support for new initiatives and existing project sites. His team plays a critical role in ensuring that every project runs smoothly, from the initial system planning phase through installation, commissioning, training, and ongoing system support. Under Jeff’s leadership, customers and partners can expect attentive service, expert guidance, and a seamless, coordinated experience at every stage.
The Technical teams are a vital part of Southwest Microwave’s mission to deliver reliable, field-proven perimeter security solutions for critical infrastructure and security-sensitive locations. Their responsibilities include:
- System Planning: Experienced project managers assess each site’s unique parameters to design solutions that meet security goals and budget requirements.
- Installation Commissioning: Systems can be commissioned by Southwest Microwave’s highly qualified field service personnel, ensuring peak performance and reliable operation.
- Training and Support: Comprehensive product training and ongoing technical assistance help customers maintain and operate their systems effectively.
Jeff’s promotion reflects both his personal contributions and the growing importance of Technical Services in delivering value to clients. By centralizing support and oversight under his leadership, Southwest Microwave aims to provide an even higher level of service, consistency, and reliability across the many organizations and sites it serves.
